The Fire Risk Assessment course is designed for the person who has been nominated as the ‘responsible person’ for undertaking fire risk assessments on behalf of their organisation.

Outline Programme

The course is designed to follow the five steps of the risk assessment process and apply it to fire safety within your organisation, ensuring that you keep your business in business.

Content:

History of fire safety
Fire behaviour
The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005
Fire Risk Assessment
Arson awareness and prevention methods
Case study exercise

Outcomes:

On completing the course candidates will be aware of:

The need to undertake a fire risk assessment
How to undertake a fire risk assessment
Identify areas of specific risk
Reduce risks down to as low as reasonably practicable

Certificate:

A certificate of attendance will be issued 2/3 weeks after the course, subject to satisfactory completion of a fire risk assessment.
