John Corrie said:
“I am delighted to be taking up this post as I have known Peter Smith for a long time and recognise that the Next-tec vision for the future of PTL is an exciting and forward looking one.

“Britain must compete on quality and skills and I am looking forward to helping steer PTL and its dedicated team of trainers and staff on to greater success.”

Peter Smith, Chief Executive and Chairman of Next-tec Holdings Ltd, said:
“John and I have worked together on many occasions over many years and when we set about acquiring the company, I knew that he was the right person for the job to help us implement our vision for PTL.

“It is vital we have the right people in place to ensure the future expansion of PTL and for us to successfully achieve the highest standards. John fits that bill exactly and I am delighted he accepted the offer to come on board.”

"In the world of Manufacturing, we must constantly adapt and progress to remain competitive. To enable us to do this, we need the help and support of people we know and trust. PTL have assisted us with our training for many years, helping our Technical Team to gain their C&G qualifications and supporting us in setting up NVQ's and gaining centre approval. We hope to continue this successful partnership well into the future." Patsy Gilthorpe
