Polymer Training Limited of Telford are celebrating with the announcement that 21 learners are booked onto their biggest ever Injection Moulding Course in March. PTL was recently praised by Ofsted for it’s ‘particularly effective relations with employers’ along with the company’s ‘strong commitment’ to developing training within the polymer sector. Chairman of Polymer Training Limited, John Corrie, said: “To compete in the international economy, companies need highly trained and highly skilled workers and we are able to deliver that for our customers. PTL staff maintain a close relationship with companies and do their very best to address their requirements. I want to add my thanks for their hard work and I am confident this marks just the beginning of better things to come for PTL.” General Manager Charmaine Bowers praised the commitment of PTL staff and the relationship they have developed with polymer sector employers. She said: “We have a team of people here at PTL who know their subjects and know how important it is to work closely with employers to meet their needs. It is this relationship that makes PTL the first stop for companies wanting to improve the skills of their workforce in the polymer industry. “PTL is showing that having highly skilled trainers and a team committed to delivering for customers is at the heart of ensuring employers want to come to us for training. Having our biggest course yet is a great milestone for us to reach and the whole team has worked hard for this.” Injection Moulding Level 2 BTEC Intermediate qualifies learners to operate competently and safely an injection moulding machine within the production process. The course gives learners both theory and practical experience of using their newly found skill in the workplace. |
