Telford based Polymer Training Limited is expanding the accredited training it provides in industry related activities it by purchasing forklift truck training provider C.R.T. Training. C.R.T Training was set up by Bill Parkhill, a former training & development officer for a multinational company in North Wales and moved to the PTL site at Halesfield in Telford in May 2007 to offer fork lift truck training for companies and individuals from novices to experienced operators. Charmaine Bowers, General Manager at PTL, said: “Bill is a first rate instructor and has taught a wide range of people the skills needed to successfully operate a fork lift truck. We are pleased he will now be a fully integrated part of our team at PTL and I am confident that this new service will be a great asset to our ability to offer the widest possible range of industry training.” Bill Parkhill of C.R.T. Training said: “It also gives the company the scope to expand and take on more staff to be able to train more fork lift drivers from a wider range of industries. “This is a really exciting and mutually beneficial move for C.R.T. Training and I am certain that coming under the PTL and Next-tec umbrella will see the business develop.” C.R.T Training is fully accredited with Road Transport Industry Training Board and trains both at its premises in Telford and onsite in companies own premises. The company provides a comprehensive course involving classroom theory and practical tuition, designed to turn out safety-conscious and efficient operators. The qualifications awarded also help to ensure employers operate within the code of practice. |
