LSC Gives PTL Zero Error Rating Print E-mail
Telford based Polymer Training Limited received a zero error rating from the Learning and Skills Council after an extensive audit of all their training procedures.

The company, based in Telford, provides training to a wide range of national and international companies across a broad range of polymer-related subjects.

The amount of paperwork associated with each ‘learner’ has long been a source of irritation within the industry, as many training providers find that funders demand ever increasing levels of paperwork before releasing money.

General Manager, Charmaine Bowers, said: “We work extremely hard to ensure that our procedures are watertight and it is gratifying to receive this recognition from the LSC for all our work behind the scenes. The paperwork associated with publicly funded training has mushroomed over recent years and Ann Cope, Centre Manager, who administrates the courses does a great job in keeping on top of it all.

“As far as I know, we are the only training provider to have received a zero error rating.”
