Pre-requisitesCandidates must be able to demonstrate existing knowledge levels through either passing the IMT2 end of course assessment or having achieved an NVQ Level 2 or having completed our pre-course questionnaire and achieved a score of 70% or above. Aim of the courseTo provide delegates with an in-depth knowledge of the Injection Moulding process in order to competently and safely set up a range of moulding machines to achieve a specified product quality and output rate. Individual candidate knowledge levels are assessed at the end of the training programme and a management report is provided to help identify further training requirements or career progression possibilities. This is a PTL assessment of knowledge for the injection moulding process but candidates can then progress towards achievement of their City & Guilds award by successfully completing further knowledge and practical assessments. Duration:5 days.
