Course content:
The following topics are covered in this course:

Mould - Construction, terminology, ejector systems, side actions, cooling circuits and systems, mould care, storage, fault identification and reporting

Safety - Responsibilities, hazards, guarding, safety checks, purging and material hazards, lifting equipment, safe working load, thread identification and clamping

Preparation - Machine considerations, nozzle, ejectors, locating rings, selection and care of hand tools

Mould change - Mould changes on machines, set clamping unit using setting sheets

Machine control - Control systems on various machines, logical approach to setting clamp unit without a setting sheet
Delegates will learn about mould construction, care and safety, mould cooling, connection, control, circuitry and design, mould changes and fault identification.
Plenty of opportunity is given for hands-on experience.
