The course examines key areas of injection moulding production, with a view to optimising efficiency, hence reducing cost and increasing profit. Processing, production, design and management factors are analysed to identify major areas of cost generation. Strategies for minimising component costs, cycle times and rejections are introduced and the effect of decision making, with regard to cost, is discussed.
