Pre-requisites:Candidates must be able to demonstrate existing knowledge levels through either passing the BFT2 end of course assessment or have achieved an NVQ Level 2 or completed our pre-course questionnaire and achieved a score of 70% or above. Aim of the course:To provide delegates with an in-depth knowledge of the blown film process in order to competently and safely set up machines to achieve specified product quality levels and output rates. Who should attend:Specifically designed to address the needs of people requiring high-level skills in configuring and optimising the blown film manufacturing process. In particular:

Individual candidate knowledge levels are assessed at the end of the training programme and a management report is provided to help identify further training requirements or career progression possibilities. This is a PTL assessment of knowledge for the blown film process but candidates can then progress towards achievement of their City & Guilds award by successfully completing further knowledge and practical assessments.
