Pre-requisites:Candidates should have been employed within an extrusion environment for a period of no less than 3 months and have some knowledge of the process requirements from either a direct, associated support role or supervisory perspective. Aim of the course:This course is designed to provide candidates with an understanding of the fundamental principles associated with the extrusion process, covering both the advantages and limitations. It is delivered using a blend of theoretical instruction and practical reinforcement sessions, to provide opportunities for group discussion and individual guided learning. Who should attend:• Production Managers and Shift Supervisors Objectives of the course:On completion of the course the delegates will be able to: Identify process hazards, state safety requirements and apply safe working practices Duration:3 days. (9.00am – 4.30pm) Qualification:Material covered has been aligned to the content of an NVQ at Level 2 and can be used as underpinning knowledge towards achieving the award, if so desired.
