SAFE introduced this advanced level programme to the security industry to meet the aspirations of those who are serious about a career in training and wish to go beyond introductory level training. The programme is recognised by the SIA and provides Accreditation of Prior Learning for five units towards the full level 3 NVQ in learning and development as follws:

• Evaluate and develop own practice
• Develop learning programmes
• Develop training sessions
• Enable learning through demonstration
• Enable group learning

The programme requires approximately 30 hours of pre-course study, five days on course, post course portfolio building under the guidance of a SAFE mentor and a further day of assessment and portfolio building activity.
